Revitalize the regions! Unite the smiles! JAL Hometown Project
JAL Hometown Support Team was created to give delicate support to regional revitalization. It consists of openly chosen flight attendants who promote the prefectures they are connected to while doing their regular jobs.

Nomi City Local Exchanges and Study Center “Wellness House SARAI”
“Wellness House SARAI” has gone a complete renewal with “Health” and “Crafts” being the concepts. It has the “Kutani Stay” hotel suitable for Nomi city as a center of Kutani ceramics production. Kutani can be seen everywhere inside the facility, so it is recommended for both Kutani fans and for those who like arts and crafts.

Tedori Fishland
This place can be enjoyed by the whole family, people of any age from adults to children.
It has a somewhat retro atmosphere. The recently renewed Ferris wheel offers a new thrilling experience of transparent cabins. It is also a great spot for photos.

Inclusive Playground Nomi
This is a vast lawn children can play on, set in a rich natural background. “Inclusive” means that “nobody is left alone”, and “everyone is together”. It is split into two zones: a playground with slides and such, and a sports ground. This is a place where parents can feel safe while they relax and watch their children.

Kutani Ceramics Village
This place allows seeing, learning about, making, and buying Kutani ceramics. Find a piece you like! There are temporary exhibitions conducted often, so new discoveries await any time you come here. |Gosai|and|Asakura|display famous works.|Taiken|offers ceramics painting and making hands-on experiences. |Kobo|allows watching the work of Kutani artists. There are also 10 shops selling the ware, and the Kutani Big Monument boasting a height of 12.9 meters.

Ishikawa Zoo
This is the only zoo in Japan that has both ibises and grouses designated as National Special Natural Treasures. It also has some rare species like a white tiger and a pygmy hippo. From time to time, it also conducts “Night Zoo” very popular both with adults and children.

Nomi Neagari Station
This JR station is a gateway to Nomi city. The interior is designed with polka dots of red, yellow, green, blue, and purple, which are called the “5 colors of Kutani”. The atmosphere is so nice you will instinctively want to take pictures here.
Nomi Furusato Museum
This recently open museum gives a chance to learn about the nature, history, and folklore of Nomi city. It is designed to make learning fun through many exhibits, and is enjoyable at any age from young to old. It also has a “Kids Museum Nomikke” space for the young visitors, allowing to learn about the nature of Nomi through play.

Nomi City Neagari Library
There is a Parents-and-Children lounge, a nursing room, audio-video booths, and so on, so this facility is good to come to with children. There is also an all-round internet and research corner, a self-study space, etc.

Tatsunokuchi Central Children Center
This is a place where parents can feel safe for their children, even for small ones. It feels warm here somehow. Notice a special room here called “Mokuikushitsu” (“Wood Growth Room”) that has toys and furniture made from local wood. Children can feel the nature of Nomi while playing here.
