Fine Art Association Ceramics Division's Exhibition at Kutani Ceramics Museum
Fine Art Association (Sōzō Bijutsu Kai) conducts a General Art Exhibition called Sōzōten in Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Art every year in order to encourage artists to create their original and individual art. A lot of our local Kutani ceramics artists participate in the Ceramics Division of the Association.
This exhibition at Kutani Ceramics Museum presents a lot of remarkable pieces that were presented at Sōzōten. Don't miss this chance!

Come to make your piece at a climbing kiln
Kutani Ceramics Workshop (Kutaniyaki Tōgeikan) is conducting master classes in preparation to the spring burning at the climbing kiln. Come to make your piece under the supervision of professional ceramists and to try burning, too. This time the intended audience is first timers. Please feel free to try!

Would you like to try growing Kaga maruimo yam?
Members wanted for 2019 financial year's "Nakanoshō maruimo Gorakukai club". We plan to conduct various agriculture master classes and events.
"Kaga maruimo" is a brand of yam specific to Nomi city and Komatsu city.
Where: activities at yam fields of Neagari district, Nakanoshō Public Hall
Capacity: 50 persons
Fee: 3,000 yen per application (includes 10 yams) + procedures fee 500 yen per person

Upcoming months schedule
Nomi City holds a weekly Japanese Class aimed toward foreigners who live and work in Nomi. Teachers from the Nomi Japanese Teachers Society will teach Japanese that is useful in everyday life. Beyond just the language, there will also be opportunities to learn more about Japanese culture throughout each of the seasons.
