Tatsunokuchi Festival ―Ghost house 2018―

First Aid Regular Class
This class is designed for those who wish to learn how to administer first aid but is too shy to apply to usual classes alone or in small group. At this class one can learn CPR, how to use AED, how to stop bleeding, how to remove a foreign body, etc.

Ishikawa Prefectural Kutani Ceramics Technology Research Institute Open Campus
There will be many events introducing activities by the Institute, including councelling concerning entrance into the Institute, pottery wheel and coloring experience, quiz stamp rally around the Kutani Ceramics Village. Looking forward to see those interested in studying at the Institute and those having interest in Kutani ceramics.

UltraArt×Ishikawa Zoo night zoo
A collaboration project by UltraArt and Ishikawa Zoo "Animal Poles/Lights of Life" to be conducted! This year we will display a fantastic lightning art with popular animals of the zoo projected on huge spheres. At daytime one can enjoy colorful images of the animals in 5 colors of Kutani ceramics, and at night - the silhouettes of the animals on giant spheres. Please come to see this special collaboration!

Kurhaus Kutani Curolling Trial Championship
Curling was at everybody's tongues at the winter Olympics. Come to feel the Olympic spirit with it's ground version called "Curolling". It's fun for anybody from children to adults.

Come to make your works at a climbing kiln
A trial class for a climbung kiln will be held at Kutani Ceramics Workshop. Throwing will be done under the directions from professional ceramists, participants will also take part in the actual burning process. Please feel free to join!

Traditional local food cooking class
"Easy oshizushi made in tupperware"
We will use the ready sushi fish and do a little additional work with it to make easy oshizushi in tupperware. Beginners who think "Oshizushi seem difficult, I never tried making them" are very welcome! Come to try making a dish good for festivals or sports events.

Japanese classes in Nomi
Upcoming months schedule
Nomi City holds a weekly Japanese Class aimed toward foreigners who live and work in Nomi. Teachers from the Nomi Japanese Teachers Society will teach Japanese that is useful in everyday life. Beyond just the language, there will also be opportunities to learn more about Japanese culture throughout each of the seasons.
