Ceramics experience for Elementary school children

  Make a scetch of your favorite animal at Ishikawa Zoo. Make a clay art piece looking at your scetch at Ceramics Workshop. The result can be turned in at school as a part of summer crafts task.
When: July, 8 (Sun) gathering by 9:00
Where: gathering at Ishikawa Zoo main gate
Audience: Elementary school children
Capacity: 30 persons (application closed as soon as capacity limit reached) *application required
Fee: 2,000 yen (includes Zoo ticket and Ceramics Workshop experience fee).

 materials for drawing (good if you have a drawing board or alike), lunch box, apron

The 7th Ocarina Festival

Come to listen to the beautiful sound of an ocarina concert.

Local mountains summer camp

This is a camp to spend 2 days and 1 night at local mountains. There will be watching living creatures in the forest and rivers, crafts making, watching starry skies, making tents, and more!

Market of fresh vegetables from local mountains

Freshly picked summer vegetables and yuzu goods produced in Kokuzō and other mountains districts will be sold at this market. Just-for-the-season Ajihei pumpkins, tomatoes and other groceries are waiting for you!

The 3rd "Hakusan Peak Prize" winners panel exhibition

This is an exhibition of the winners of the "Holy peak of Hakusan: four seans and smiles" contest (photographs and paintings)

Serai Anniversary Party

We celebrate the 8th anniversary thanks to all of you. We will conduct a beer garden and music-and-dances party at the innner garden of Serai to celebrate.

Japanese classes in Nomi
Upcoming months schedule

  Nomi City holds a weekly Japanese Class aimed toward foreigners who live and work in Nomi. Teachers from the Nomi Japanese Teachers Society will teach Japanese that is useful in everyday life. Beyond just the language, there will also be opportunities to learn more about Japanese culture throughout each of the seasons.
