Nomi City Hall is split into three bureaus and is made up of collectively of the Neagari branch, Terai branch and the Tatsunokuchi branch. The Neagari branch deals primarily with education and industry/construction, the Terai branch deals with city planning and general affairs and the Tatsunokuchi branch deals with social welfare and holds the city assembly. All of the three branches have a service counter that will process certificate of registrations, changes to family registers etc and also provide forms for various applications concerning living in Japan.
